So you're ready to start looking for an internship or co-op.  What now?  It's easy.  Just follow these simple steps:

1. Log in to your Eagle Network account.  This is where you will look for internships, co-ops, on-campus, off-campus, volunteer and full-time jobs are posted.  This is also where you can find out about career fairs, industry days, information sessions and workshops.

2. Go to My Account --> My Profile.  Make sure all of your information is correct.  This includes phone number, email address, major, GPA, etc.  This will ensure that you are able to view all positions you're qualified for.  Check this section periodically.  You may move or change majors and you'll want to make sure you're able to view relevant jobs.

3. Go to My Account-->My Documents.  This is where you'll upload your resume and any other documents an employer might require (cover letters, etc).  All employers will want to see a resume when you apply for their internship or co-op.  Need help creating a resume?  No problem.  We conduct resume writing workshops that will give you tips on what to include.  Have an exsisting resume that just needs revision?  Give us a call (940-565-2864) to schedule an appointment with one of our coordinators.

4.  Check out our Tutorials page.  We have tips on how to search for positions on the Eagle Network, how to receive emails anytime a new internship for your major is posted, and many others!

5.  Like us on Facebook!  We have Facebook pages for Internships/Co-op and the Eagle Network, both with great information for you.

Remember that while the Search Jobs section of the Eagle Network is a great resource for you, it is not the only resource.  Try the Employer Directory and External Links tabs.  You can also try friends, family members and faculty. Finding a quality internship is the important thing, whether it's on the Eagle Network or not.
